Awesome in My Dining Room!
I have a multi-bulb fixture above the dining room table and was hoping to switch out the bulbs soon for something more saavy. I tried these, and even though they're a little odd looking, they give off a great light. A great bonus is that they are dimmable--we had just put in a dimmer switch so we're glad we can still use it. It dims pretty nicely and with less of that odd hum sound you sometimes get on lower settings. All in all, it was a great buy.

Long lasting = great for high ceilings!
I have rather high ceilings in my family room, and we have a few can lights up there. We purchased a few of these bulbs for those fixtures. We were pleased with the warm white color because it wasn't that much different than the incandescent bulbs we previously had up there. I'm also happy that these bulbs are supposed to last a long time because switching out burnt out bulbs is such a huge pain in the you know what with these ceilings! It's also nice to know that we are conserving energy when they are on. I like that we can dim them too, great for entertaining!
